Mountaintop Construction

An established business. A digital presence that had fallen behind.

Website Redesign + Digital Foundation

The challenge

Mountaintop is an established construction company whose website, dating to roughly 2018, no longer represented the quality of the business. Content was sparse, and the experience did not align with how people, Google and AI evaluate businesses today.

They had repeatedly been approached by agencies about the website. Instead of simply accepting a sales pitch, Cyborg ran its Website Grading methodology. The existing experience showed meaningful opportunities across all three: people, Google and AI.

The priority

The goal

Get the foundation right first.

Mountaintop was not looking for a comprehensive ongoing SEO and AI Visibility program. The priority was rebuilding the digital foundation correctly.

What was rebuilt

The approach

Cyborg rebuilt the experience around eight things, none of which is a marketing campaign.

Modern UX and UI

Layout, type and spacing rebuilt so the site reads as current work rather than as a page from a previous era.

Stronger content hierarchy

What the business does, and for whom, stated where a visitor looks first instead of spread thinly across the page.

Clearer service pathways

One route for each kind of work they take on, so somebody planning an addition is not left guessing which page is theirs.

Trust and proof

Reviews, project photography and six decades of work given real room, because in the trades the proof is most of the pitch.

Mobile experience

Built for the phone as the primary screen, rather than as a narrowed version of the desktop layout.

Performance-conscious development

Images, markup and assets kept lean so pages arrive quickly on an ordinary connection.

Foundational SEO

Titles, structure, headings and internal linking done correctly at the build stage. That is a foundation, not an ongoing SEO program.

Foundational AI readiness

The site structured and written so a language model can state accurately what the business does and where it works.

Before and after

The transformation

The clearest way to describe this project is to put the two versions next to each other.

The previous Mountaintop Construction website: a pale header with a small logo and text navigation above a kitchen photograph, with the headline set in a translucent panel over it
Before — the previous site, as archived by the Internet Archive on 21 February 2025.
The rebuilt Mountaintop Construction website: a full-width hero with a custom homes headline over project photography, and the services below it
After — the rebuilt site, live at mountaintopconstruction.net.

Where it landed

The outcome

A modern digital presence that better reflects Mountaintop’s experience, capabilities and credibility, while creating a stronger foundation for future growth.
