Website design that earns its keep

A website is a working part of your business, not a brochure you paid for once. We design and build sites that make sense to customers, to Google, and to the AI systems now answering questions about you.

What you get

What a Cyborg website actually is

A custom site designed around what your business needs a visitor to do, built on WordPress, hosted and maintained by us. Not a template with your logo dropped in, and not a page builder you inherit the maintenance of.

The work covers structure, design, copywriting support, build, launch, and the ongoing running of it. You get a site that loads fast, reads clearly on a phone, and is written so a search engine and a language model can both tell what you do and who you serve.

What it costs

One startup fee, then a monthly relationship

$750 to design, build and launch
$150 per month to host, maintain and support

The $750 covers the work of getting the site designed, built and live. The monthly covers hosting, security updates, backups, small changes and having someone to call when something needs doing.

It is not a payment plan for a fixed product. It is an ongoing relationship, which is why the site keeps being looked after instead of ageing quietly until it needs replacing.

Search and AI visibility work is priced separately and is not part of the monthly. There is more on that on the SEO and AI Visibility page.

Three audiences, one site

Most sites are built for one of these and quietly fail the other two.

People

A visitor should understand what you do, believe you can do it, and know what to do next, without scrolling to find out.

Google

Clean HTML, real headings, fast pages and a structure a crawler can follow without guessing.

AI

Explicit facts about your services, service area and expertise, so a model answering a question about your trade can describe you correctly.

How it is built

What we pay attention to

Structure before decoration

The order of a page is the argument it makes. We decide what a visitor needs to know, and in what order, before anything is styled. A site that looks expensive and says nothing is a common and costly outcome.

Fast on a real phone, on real data

Images are sized and compressed properly, layout is stable while it loads, and nothing important waits on JavaScript. Most of your visitors are on a phone, and a slow first impression is one you do not get to make twice.

Written to be understood, then found

Copy is written for the person deciding whether to call you. That same clarity is what makes a page quotable by a search engine or an assistant, which is why we do not write separately for machines.

How we work

How a build runs

  1. 01 Understand What the business does, who buys, and what the site has to achieve.
  2. 02 Structure Pages, hierarchy and the path from landing to enquiry.
  3. 03 Design Typography, space and imagery carrying that structure.
  4. 04 Build Fast, accessible, crawlable HTML on WordPress.
  5. 05 Run it Hosting, updates, backups and changes, monthly.

Common questions

What does the $750 cover?

The design, build and launch of the site. It is a startup fee for the work of getting you live, not the price of a finished product you then own outright.

What am I paying $150 a month for?

Hosting, security and software updates, backups, monitoring, small content and design changes, and support when you need something done.

How long does a site take?

Most business sites run three to six weeks from the first conversation to launch. The variable is usually how quickly content, photography and approvals come back.

Do I own the website?

The design and content are yours. The site runs on our hosting and management as part of the monthly, so leaving means moving it rather than switching it off.

Is SEO included in the monthly?

No. The monthly keeps the site running well, which helps, but search and AI visibility work is a separate engagement scoped to your market and priced on its own.

Can you write the content?

Yes. Most clients supply the facts and we do the writing. Content is usually the thing that decides the timeline, so we start it early.
